Chapter 1 - The hunter who hid his identity
The world has changed dramatically.

One day, strange phenomena occurred all over the world. At the same time, a translucent window appeared in front of several people's eyes. At first everyone was confused. What is this situation, what is this translucent window, why is it visible to some and not to others... Before people could properly understand the situation, monsters poured into the world, and the world quickly collapsed.

During the early dark times known as the Apocalypse, some thought the Earth was doomed, but others did not give up hope. In a devastated world, people gradually grasped the situation and received information on how to fight monsters.

Those who can see the translucent window, the so-called 'awakened ones', have special abilities. Dungeons appear all over the world, and if these dungeons are not cleared in time, the monsters inside will flood out or the dungeon itself will explode, destroying the entire area. This information was obtained through much sacrifice.

Based on this information, several capable people led the way to rebuild humanity. Countries that were at odds with each other now joined forces, and all humans, regardless of race or religion, united to fight monsters.

Just when people were developing hope for a new era, a dungeon appeared at the North Pole. It was the most dangerous level of all the dungeons that had ever existed, and if it was not cleared, it was estimated that the scale of the explosion would be comparable to the Permian mass extinction.

Faced with an unprecedented catastrophe, humanity began to gather strength without taking time to mourn. The Awakened volunteered to enter the Great Dungeon, and each country generously provided military equipment, including nuclear weapons.

1,203 people entered the Great Dungeon, the maximum number of people allowed. People called them 'The Revengers.' Those at the forefront were a multinational team made of six of the strongest Awakened. After that, 82 Awakened teams followed, and even some teams full of people who had bravely volunteered although they were normal civilians.

After 1,203 heroes, the Revengers, began their attack, people around the world didn't know what was going on inside the dungeon, and had no choice but to pray and wait.
